Our Texas Collection, an extensive collection of Texas history books, both old and new, is located at the center of our exhibit space. Many of these are no longer in print and would be difficult to replace. Therefore, books in our Texas Collection, like all of our collections, cannot be checked out and must be viewed at the tables set up in our museum space.
Of particular note are the two-volume set, Fayette County, Texas Heritage, which was published in 1996, our local histories, books related to the Dawson massacre and Mier expedition, and our collection of school records. Check our catalog for specific titles.
